OUR VISION

  • To provide enrichment opportunities for children and young adults with special needs.
  • To provide an innovative space where children and young adults with special needs can access support to navigate the social service system
  • To provide respite care so that parents of special needs children will have support in dealing with their special needs child
  • To provide specialize therapies aimed at reducing behavioral problems most often seen in special needs children

OUR NEED

Families dealing with special needs often struggle to find activities and resources to support their loved one. We at the Noah’s Arch Foundation know those families receiving occasional respite and support services are less likely to request admission of an individual to foster care, or other out-of-home care at public expense. Noah’s Arch Foundation has developed a comprehensive program that includes enrichment activities, respite care and other support programs.  Extracurricular programs that promote socialization, friendship building, and other enrichment opportunities is of great benefit to children and young adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other developmental and physical disabilities.

  • Noah’s Arch Foundation will provide an opportunity for short periods of relief from constant responsibility for the home care of individuals of all ages with disabilities and/or children or adults at risk of abuse or neglect, in a safe, loving, and enriching environment.

  • Our services will reduce family and caregiver stress, enhance family and caregiver coping ability, and strengthen family and caregiver ability to meet the challenging demands of caring for family members. The risk of abuse and neglect of children, senior citizens, and other vulnerable groups is reduced as well.

  • The Noah’s Arch Foundation will evaluate a range of respite care, social, supportive and enrichment needs and provide a variety of services to address participant needs in a nonprofit organizational structure.
